The Who performed just twice in 2005, at a charity performance in New York City and as part of the Live 8 concert in London. These were their only appearances between their 2004 and 2006–2007 tours. ==History== On 13 June, Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey played an acoustic show at a performance for the Four Seasons of Hope charity at New York City's Gotham Hall. They were supported by keyboardist Jon Carin, who had worked with The Who on their 1996-97 tours as a support musician and stood in for John "Rabbit" Bundrick during The Concert for New York City. The ten-song set mixed old favorites with some lesser-known numbers, as well as the band’s latest single, "Real Good Looking Boy". (詳細はWho Are You" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" for the London segment of the Live 8 concert at Hyde Park, almost exactly 20 years to the day of their appearance at Live Aid. Though regular sidemen John Bundrick and Simon Townshend joined them, bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Zak Starkey were unavailable - Damon Minchella and Steve White, both members of Paul Weller's band at the time, filled in on bass and drums for the performance.
